The Miss Hawaiian Tropic
International Model Search is the largest model search in the world and
the most extensive promotion for Hawaiian Tropic Suncare Products. Each
year over 20,000 young ladies compete in Nationwide Preliminary Model
Searches which take place in water parks, stadiums, night clubs, etc.,
all over the world.
On August 30, 2008,
Vanessa Garza took the crown of Miss Hawaiian Tropic San Antonio at
the regional International Model Search. The runners up
included Lisa Bingham, Tiffany Sanchez, Patty Ramon, and Casey
Womack.
Vanessa, along with
the runners up won an all expense paid trip to compete for the Texas
crown in Houston on September 27. The winners at the Texas
International Model Search will go on to compete at the national
level in the Spring of 2009.
The top 12 San
Antonio competitors will be featured in the 2009 Girls of San
Antonio bikini calendar which will be available in late October.

El Mundo
Entertainment is now in search of contestants for the 2009
competition which will be held June 2009. New Media Talent, the
internal casting company to El Mundo Entertainment, will be holding
several casting calls throughout the year to hand select the
competitors.
The Hawaiian Tropic
International Model Search is one of the few pageants who does not
charge the contestants an entry fee to compete.
